What’s your business story?
Mows510 is a local East Bay street artist. His work can be found installed across the US and as far away as London, Sweden and Poland.
What’s your backstory?
Mows510, a 50-something year old father of three, came late to the art scene. When he’s not casting and painting new doors he’s often found riding his bicycle in endurance biking events.
Did you know that the earliest pieces Mows510 installed were in Alameda? His early doors were made of plaster-of-Paris. They didn’t last very long, but a few survived, scattered around the island. His newer installations rise above ground level on balloons, as tall buildings, and even their own planets!
What other names have you been known to go by?
Mows510 is known by his friends as Mows (pronounced the same as Mouse). While many locals refer to his art as fairy doors, Mows has always considered them mouse doors.
